We wouldn't sell these if we weren't pleased with the in-field results -- this M72 is light enough and compact to carry as a secondary, yet its durable construction will ensure that it lasts many-an-operation. If you use vehicles in your operations and need to take 'em out -- this is your weapon.
This custom M72A2 LAW (Light Anti-tank Weapon) is designed to utilize an airsoft M203 grenade to propel Nerf(R) Vortex rockets at stationary targets or vehicles within the general context of airsoft milsim. As with the original M72A2, this simplified design is also transported in collapsed form until engaged in combat where the inner barrel is extended back and locked into position. Both front and rear sites will automatically spring out during this process.
Distances Achieved:
With Green Gas: ~175+ ft.
With Propane: ~200+ ft.
Accuracy:
Using the Nerf(R) Vortex Rocket as a projectile, we've found this M72 to be extremely consistent (9/10 shots) at hitting the dumpster behind our store from a distance of 150 ft.
Dimensions:
Width: ~3 in.
Height: ~5 in.
Length: ~25 in. (collapsed); ~33 in. (extended)
Weight: ~3 lbs.
Recommended M203 Grenade: Mad Bull XM-PB4 (has gas injection valve on rear of grenade for easy in-field filling) or any other 40mm-diameter grenade will fit. Recommended Projectile: Nerf(R) Vortex Rocket
Let us know if you need the M72 packaged in "kit" form -- which may be split between two shipments to facilitate passage through customs. You may also purchase the M72 in "kit" form without paint or decals applied -- and if you paint it yourself, we can take up to $40.00 off the original purchase price. Just add additional comments in an email to specify what you'd like.
My law is amazing!!!! I used it a couple weeks ago and got 4 kills with one rocket!!! I shot it over a building at the beginning of a game and wiped 'em out. And also, I got TONS of compliments on it. I let them know where to get it from so you may be getting some more business soon. Overall, I'm really pleased to own this weapon and I think you made a great invention. Thanks!

Interesting design. Some flaws need to be fixed such as the rear cover, some of the screws, the sights and the firing mech.
First test fire was fine, but the next 3 were mis-fires. I was using a MadBull XM-PB4 with Propane. I have to do some mods to it and see how it will work out.

My brother and I really like this M72A2. We fired it "into" the Wyoming wind and it still flew around 50 yards. I can only imagine how far it would have gone without the wind resistance.
We are using the Mad Bull XM-PB4; it is geared more toward firing paint balls but it works great. We found more of the Nerf Vortex rockets at our local store.
What could be better:
- more durable stickers
- metal sights
But I have to say what an awesome launcher!! If you decide to make a AT4 definitely let me know. I am the writer and owner of the Wyoming Airsoft magazine and I plan on doing an awesome review.
